Mechanics Tool Set 145-Piece
A 145-piece mechanics tool set for home and DIY jobs: 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch drive deep and standard sockets in SAE and metric, plus bits, combination wrenches, hex wrenches, and accessories — all in a storage case.
How it compares (prices checked October 2026):
Craftsman’s 154-piece OVERDRIVE SAE/metric set with hard case runs $149 at Lowe’s. This 145-piece SAE/metric set with storage case is $93.99 — $55 less for the same kind of kit.
DeWalt’s 205-piece mechanics set (DWMT81534) runs $167 at Home Depot. It’s a bigger set — 60 more pieces, and it adds 1/2-inch drive — but this 145-piece set covers the same home and DIY jobs for $73 less.
